A trip down south

Weekends seriously are never long enough. I've been really looking forward to this weekend for a while. Went to Floriade down in Canberra. Floriade is the annual flower festival and it is pretty much renown for its tulips. It was so pretty, this year's theme was all about great Aussie Movies. On the way down we first stopped by a gun shooting range, my goodness it is loud there. I don't ever want to own a gun, and I personally thinks guns are dangerous, although I would get myself to a shooting range and just try it once. I guess I just have a weird to do list.

Anyway back in Canberra city, it was just such a nice day... I'll let the pictures speak for themselve about the wonderful time we had. I love digital cameras, you can take like 400 shots without even realising.

A colourful cow that was in front of a "happy" shop :)

Me patting a baby goat, so cute and adorable

They had a patting zoo at Foriade

I have never seen baby black swans

This just looks way too painful

Juggling flames, dangerous business for fireman!

This was such a nice leather store in a little town outside of Canberra... ohh the smell

Jacob going for the Western look, if only he had a cowboy hat, texas tie and buckle...

Next stop on the weekend trip was Batesman's Bay. Where we got to visit Cindy and her family. It was a lot of fun, and I never realised how much teenage boy loves Hommus, and how raw egg can be such an interesting dessert. We visited Mogo Zoo while we were in Batesman's Bay. Getting up close with the animals were such a fun experience.
The White Lions, ohhh if only I could give them a huge hug!

It's a Red Panda... aren't they absolutely adorable. Such cute animals.
Don't know if this was Sam or Frodo

We got to pat African Servals

African Servals loves chicken wings

This monkey is such a model

The Meerkats, aren't they adorable

Little monkeys :) Enjoy their morning breakfast

The Brazillian Tapir, I think their snouts are beautiful

I wish I can have more time on this weekend. Mainly because there were still so much to do. On the drive back we went past Nien Tian Shi, and Jamberoo... I look forward to many more adventures and wonderful weekend.
