Dancing Queen

I'm totally exhausted after this weekend. Sydney weather has been slightly crazy of late, on the weekends we have been getting boiling hot weather! For the past few weekends we have been having 30 degree hot sunny days, then as soon as the week starts it is freezing cold. It will drop to 20 degrees with cloudy and windy days. So I came down with the usual cold and flu, the worst part is I've started my coughs, and for those who knows my coughs... It goes on for weeks, nearly a month and my voice has pretty much disappeared... although the good part is it is giving me great abs!

To add to my great ab workout I have managed to get some great exercise. This weekend I was the dancing queen, young and sweet, only.... (the song just came into my mind that is all). The weekend started off with the YSA Ball, the theme was Ball Royale. It was just such much fun, I danced the night away for like 5 hours. My feet and legs were sooo sooo sooo sore afterwards. Apart from getting home at like 2am (yes I know, church ball finishing after midnight...) I was just sooo tired. Pretty much went to bed straight away considering I had work the next day.

What a grand entrance

Man I miss Ceroc... Lincoln you are so the Dancing King!

Sat, I worked 2 sets of birthday parties. It was pretty fun, just ended up being a really really long day and I got soooo tired just driving around in the hot sun as well. Anyway that evening my ward had a disco night. We ended up dancing the night away again.

Sunday was such a great day. It was a really spiritual experience for me. So much was discussed and I felt the spirit with each discussion, thought and decision. I also got the opportunity to attend a great fireside on Sunday night. It was on the descendents of Joseph Smith and a Nashville Tribute to Joseph. It was so touching and so wonderful. I don't think I have had such a great fireside in such a long long time. I hope everyone gets a chance to see them and hear of their testimony. To the wonderful people who came all the way from America to Australia to share their testimonies. Thank you so much for the wonderful music you give us, thank you for the wonderful and heartfelt testimony that was borned that night. I too thank Joseph Smith and how he allows me to withness and know for myself that the saviour do exist and I know that the Lord and the Church is true.

Well I hope people can make their way to Penrith Chapel on Tues night, 30th September 2008 to see their fireside.
