Happy Valentine's Day

Before I get started on the sappyness of Valentine's Day... I thought I would mention Hurricanes and my friend Mitch.

Mitch organised dinner on Thursday night to welcome back Hayley on her short home-coming trip from NZ (I know, why would you leave Sydney to live in NZ???). Anyway we went to Hurricanes at Darling Harbour (http://www.hurricanesgrill.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=22&Itemid=28) for dinner... Ohhh it was sooo nice. Hayley and I shared a full rack of pork ribs.... It was sooo sooo sooo yummy. Boy Hayley can eat, we finished our half rack of ribs, and then decided to dig into some of the boys full rack of ribs, since they couldn't finish it. Poor effort fellas! We had a wonderful time, and I can't wait to see the photos of us chowing down those ribs, Hayles load it onto facebook soon ok :)

On Monday I farewelled mum at the Airport. She has gone back to Taiwan to visit Grandma. She seems to be enjoying her time there. I hear about all the food adventures when she calls. Man I miss Taiwanese street foods sometimes.

So Valentine's Day... well the rain postponed my Valentine's present :( So when it does happen I will post what it is up on my blog, and also show pictures of it. Instead we spent the entire day going around the shops and buying plates and stuff... I know how romantic.

We did manage to have High Tea though... and I have discovered I really like Turkish Apple. It was just soooo yummy.
