Happy Father's Day (second time round)

I'm a bit slow in writing my blog for this week. I did want to start it off by saying... Happy Father's Day.

Dad is pretty lucky, since Father's Day seems to be different around the world, Dad got to celebrate it twice. The Chinese/Taiwan Fathre's Day was on 8th Aug, mainly because the sound of "8" sounds like "pa", so "8/8" would be "papa". Pretty cool isn't it. Anywya, with our family being in Australia, we also celebrated Father's Day on the first Sunday of September. Because of double duties, we decided to celebrate Father's Day on Sat night instead. So at night I ended up cooking dinner for Dad. Made him traditional chinese rice cake dish. Then later on that night we made him chocolate souffle. I also made a Blackforest Pavlova for another Father's Day dinner on Sunday night.

Yes it is me cooking... I know how unbelievable is that!

The almost finished product, with cream and cherry on top

Decided it needed more chocolate, so I sprinkled shaved chocolates on top

Chocolate souffle hmmmm yummy

All in all, Happy Father's Day. Thank you for looking after me so well :)
