Biennale Sydney
There is just so much to discover in lovely Sydney. I know the excitment of going overseas and visiting different countries are great. But I have come to realise that after living in Sydney for almost 18 years there are still so many things about Sydney that I did not know. Only in the last few years I have experienced the Sydney Festival, and I have to say the events just get better and better. And only this year I have come to realisation of the existence of the Biennale. The Biennale is an annual Arts Festival and there is a focus on contemporary arts, it really opened up my mind to different ways of expression. It was just such a great day, beautiful Sydney Winter weather, and very entertaining.
On the Ferry to Cockatoo Island from Circular Quay (Free Ferry, how good)
What a beautiful architecture, where else but Sydney. The Sydney Opera House is just beautiful
The Harbour Bridge with Luna Park underneath... (you gotta love this city, love this city)
Mum and I at Cockatoo Island
Such a pretty and interesting island... although we got slightly lost and needed the map
There was a canon on the island, and being the kid that I am, I needed to take a photo on it :P
Kylie Kwong! She was the mystery tour guide. I was soooo sooo soo excited! I can't wait to go to her restaurant Billy Kwong at Surry Hills. I am still a little start strucked! She is an amazing cook.
What a beautiful view from Cockatoo Island
There is light at the end of the tunnel. This was a beautiful tunnel, and the sand stone, amazing
What... NWSE??? Mind boggling
Sails... It is an intersting piece, quite beautiful
Now this was interesting... It hung like a baby mobile, but the animals were huge and made from materials such a metal took boxes, etc...
Mum and Dad at Ding Tai Fung... so yummy
I love eating here
