Went to a YSA dance on Fri night, the theme was Disney. Being the token Asian it was easy to just go with Mulan, even though the era of Chinese dress I was wearing was a few centuries off. Lincoln and I got a chance to practice some of our newly found Swing moves.
This weekend, parties galore! First I worked at two birthday parties. It is actually pretty cool to see parents book out scientific birthday parties for their kids. Hopefully I have helped inspire those kids to think that science is fun!
I have to say birthdays are a great way to catch up with friends and families. I have not seen my high school friends in ages, and it was great to be able to see them and chat to them for Sarah's birthday. I love you Sairs! And Claire Bear, your 21st rocks! I can't believe I'm still attending 21st but it was way fun catching up with the Yellow Shirts and see everyone so dressed up. I am truly blessed to have so many great friends in my life. You have all touched my life in a special way, so thank you for coming into my life. I truly hope I get a chance to continue to meet up with you guys.
