As I sat there during the Solemn Assembly for the Sat AM session, it dawned on me that members all over the world were partaking in the same experience and were all sustaining the leaders of the Church. That was a wonderful feeling and it truly made me realise that this is a World-wide church. That people all over the world believe in the same thing and we truly have a Prophet who guides and leads this church. I love President Monson, it was kinda weird to not see President Hinckley there this time round, but to hear President Monson speak was such a joy adn you could really feel the Spirit with him.
I truly enjoyed this weekend and there are just so many things I could share that I've learnt from each of the speakers. It is too hard to put it into words I guess... so if people want to share it, we'll sit down over hot chocolate one day and discuss it :)
So it's almost midnight as I write this blog, it has been a busy Sunday and a busy week.... We had a YSA fireside after General Conference, it was a good fireside about staying on the path.
A quick highlight of this week... I learnt the art of scrapbooking, as part of a Relief Society Enrichment activity.
Played Squash and my whole body is still feeling the pain... ohh I so need to exercise more.
Went to a friend's 25th Birthday... HAPPY BIRTHDAY KITTY!
Then there was the AFL game which we went to on Sat night.. Go the Swannies, it was such a thrashing of West Coast Eagles... what can I say.... the best team won on the night.
Time for me to get to bed... hopefully next week I wont be so busy...

Gee Jean,
You seemed like you didn't sleep at all to write this post. I am glad you did. General Conference was a bit different without President Hinckley but like you said Pres. Monson was just as inspirational. And then attending all the other activities, mate you make me look lazy. hehehe. Keep up the good work and post more photos once you finished a scrapbook project-trust me that is fun!
OH AFL! I wish I could go to some games. That's definitely on my to-do list if I ever make it back down.
I thought you were actually at the conference center for a second there. I was like "she better not have come and not told us!" Wami was able to score some tickets so she got to go. We can tell you how to get some too, if you ever come to town. ;)
You guys so have to make it down to Sydney one of these days. So much fun to be had, and Jerin, I'll definitely take you to the footy!
One of my to do list is to definitely go to Conference, so when I do plan a trip to SLC, I'll definitely try and get tickets off you guys.
BTw Matt Ngai is getting married there on April 24th, the Ngai family will be there and so will Alan Wong. I may have to get Alan to bring you some Tim Tams :P
