Well a few things have happened since and life just kinda took over.
Grandma (my last grandparent) have been visiting us here in Australia for a while, so we have been spending time with her, and it was nice to be able to visit with her and have her meet Elijah.
Well on the morning of Tuesday 18 December 2012, we received a phone call from my Aunty at 7:58am looking for Mum and Dad. I told her Mum and Dad was on a cruise and was in Auckland that day and would be back in 3 days time. That was when I found out that Grandma was rushed into hospital a couple of hours ago and things weren't looking good.
I was shocked by that news, so the next few hours was contacting cousins, aunties and various family members about what was going on. And trying to contact mum and dad overseas. In the midst of trying to contact family, we received news that Grandma passed away. She was 88 yrs old.
I miss her dearly, but I was glad for the fact that I got to see her in her final months, and I am extremely grateful for the fact that I got to go back to Taiwan to attend her funeral.

Sorry to hear of your Grandma's passing. It's good that you got to spend some quality time with her & for Eli too.
I feel for you :( Thinking of you Jean, it's a horrible pain when you lose someone so dear. Eli is a very lucky boy to have met his Great Grandma.
