Studying again

Last year I decided to go back to uni to start a Grad Cert in Qualitative Research in Health Policy. It was to add onto the Quantitative skills I already gained as a scientist. Doing one subject per semester while working was relatively easy. Do a couple of blocked learning days and then a couple of readings and assignments spread out through 2 months relatively easy.

Then a baby came along, and trying to get readings done became a little harder, especially trying to get to the first set of lectures 3 weeks after the birth. Talk about lack of sleep!

With only 1 subject left to my Grad Cert, I thought hey wouldn't it be a great idea to change my Grad Cert, do another 4 subjects, and get a Masters instead. What was I thinking when I signed up for another 4 subjects??? I must have been suffering from a lack of sleep!

So this week I just had 2 days learning about Healthy Policy (it made me miss my little baby boy so much), and now I have prepare myself with a number of readings for my second subject this Thurs and Fri on Qualitative Research.

Yep, even more crazy trying to do 2 subjects instead of 1 subject this semester!

More lack of sleep this month.
