I was finishing up my online banking and had just put down my trusty laptop on our leather ottoman/coffee table. We had put a blanket on it, so that little Eli can practice Tummy time on it. 20 mins later, I heard a loud bang.
My poor MacBook Pro dropped to the floor. It was only a 30cm drop, but it happened to land on the corner where the HD was. So caputs... dead HD, dead laptop, pictures of Eli at 1 months old gone... Very very sad. I'm still reeling from the loss.

Although this has allowed my husband a perfect excuse to buy a new MacBook Air. He has been drooling over it for months, so he has bought it for me (I really think it is so that he can play with a new gadget). So thank you Tax Return, and thank you hubby dear.
Hopefully the new laptop would be a bit more hardy.
