Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
It is nice to be able to spend Chinese New Year's Eve with extended family. We went to the Star City Garden Buffet for dinner with my family, uncle's family and Grandma. Ate like 3 plates of main, 2 bowls of soup, 1 bowl of fruit and 1 plate of desset.... SOOO FULL
It's one of those if you go to a buffet, you feel like you have to get your money's worth. Anyway ended up eating half a crab and lots of seafood... how Asian of me.
The wonderful thing about Sydney, is that Chinese New Year celebration is a big thing for us. We have twilight parades and Dragon Boat festivals. All fun things to look forward to this weekend.... Also a lot more eating... My poor stomach is not enjoying Chinese New Years as much as I am.
I am however missing my Chinese Red Packets, now that I'm married, no more Red Packets for me... instead I have to give them out. Sometimes it sucks to grow up.
