Happy Halloween and various mishaps

Mid this week I gave myself the biggest headache ever. Despite the fact that the Ute is a relatively high car to drive… it is still not high enough to totally miss your forehead. I had just gotten out of the Ute and I reached back into the car to grab something from the passenger seat. My actions were a little too fast and my forehead was a little too tall. I ended up smacking my forehead on the frame of the car… I heard a loud crack. It gave me a nice long red bump on my head. Luckily I didn’t knock myself out with the hard smack I gave myself. The good thing was the fact that I am still not showing that much symptoms of major head trauma. Apart from a huge headache for a couple of days, and sensitivity to loud sounds the day it happened, and slight nausea… For people who are reading this. I did go and see the doctor, I did a bit of self-diagnosis (thanks to my St John First Aid knowledge), and the doctor agreed with me. It is nothing major, the frontal skull is really really thick and that if I notice any major symptoms, then I should go and see a doctor. See I do kinda know what I’m talking about. But I guess if anything, I went to see the doctor so that other people wouldn’t be so worried about my poor forehead.

Happy Halloween! Surprisingly after living in Australia for 18yrs, Halloween is finally starting to gather more momentum. We ended up having a small bunch of teenagers come and knock on our doors Trick or Treating. Kinda weird having teenagers knock on the door rather than little children. They at least got dressed up for the event which is good. I kinda do agree with other people’s theory that “NO DRESSUP, NO LOLLIES”
