I just came back from such a wonderful spiritual experience. It was Andrew Lam's baptism. It was great to see him grow up as a baby and finally enter the waters of baptism. I love seeing the excitment that children have when they are about to be baptised. As we sang "When I Am Baptised", the words really made me think. I love the line "I want my life to be as clean as Earth right after rain". It is just such a beautiful song... I now remember why I love Primary songs. Anyway, Andy I'm so proud of you and so happy for you. You really are a child of God.
I also attended a 60th this weekend. I love birthdays and the chance to be around with people whom you love and have special connections with. The DJ did play a little too much slow songs, I guess it would have been fine had I had a dance partner... oh well... I gues that is a note to myself for next time.
On a last note, I just wanted to emphasis how fun Sparklers and Glow Sticks are. Despite the cold wintery night, it was still fun to just be out there and remember the fun things about childhod. I hope I can enjoy more of those moments :)
