Catching up with old friends

I seriously am not much of a blogger. The only reason I've started blogging is because I went through some of the boxes I had in the garage, and found some old pictures of friends, family etc. Due to the nostalgia of it all, I thought it would be a great idea to try and catch up with family and those old friends. As I managed to find those old friends, I was directed to their blog sites, and from their blog sites I found sites to other people's blogs, and it just seems to grow and grow, and there was this blog world in existence that I seriously did not know much about.

I don't actually have that much time, but procrastination during theesis writing seem to be very popular!

Anyway this is a short blog, but I'm gonna try and post something new every month. Hopefully through this means, I will be able to catch up with old friends. Especially those in foreign countries who I don't get to catch up with as often.

Lots of love,
Jean

Lol, Good luck Jean. Hope you can last the distance or atleast a few months. I was weak and crumbled up 2 months.

No Jean you have to endure and endure b/c it is much like a journal that we need to make so friends and family near and far can read and get updates. That is the sole reason we have our blog for family and friends. And I will keep my promise of commenting on your blog once in a while so you will feel that at least someone is reading your blog. Keep it up and the most important thing is to post photos; much easier than writing-trust me.

Welcome! ... to the world of Blogging. It is good to hear you are alive and doing well. The miles seem much shorter in the world of blogging. Like Da, it is nice to take a few moments to catch up and see what old friends are doing, especially with our busy lives. I concur with the photos part too. Good luck with your endeavors and I look forward to hearing (& seeing) the latest and greatest.

Go Jean! I'm glad you're doing this. There are many years I still need to catch up on.

I went through that same stage and it felt very fulfilling to catch up with lots of old friends. The only sad thing is that the beautiful snapshot in your mind doesn't always exist in the same exact way anymore. But it's still worth it to try and catch up.

Post lots of pictures and random stories for us to see and read! I'll be here often. :)

Wait - did Da serve in Sydney? Maybe I knew that... but I didn't know you knew each other too. How funny! I am connected to Da in SO many random ways. :)

Jerin and Travis,

What I realize is that the small little community of the Chinese LDS members can pretty much be connected by no more and 5 extentions of friends. Jerin, I was surprised that you served in Punchbowl. Just so you know, Chang served there about the same time with Travis Johnson (noted here) so it is very interesting and maybe all of us should go visit Punchbowl for 3-4 Sundays that should make up a Punchbowl Chinese Ward for those couple weeks. Hehehehe. I really miss Punchbowl and will go back ....eventually.
